Apple iPhone battery IPBT/ IP-2103, Lithium Ion (Li-Ion), Standard Internal Battery comes with installation tools and instructions.
  • Aftermarket battery is rated at 1400 mAh, the same as the Apple iPhone battery that came with your Apple iPhone, and keeps a Standard profile on the Apple iPhone since it does Not require any larger battery door. Use the existing Apple iPhone case that came with your cell phone.
  • Powerful Lithium ion battery technology has no memory effect either!
  • This standard duty battery gives satisfactory talk & standby times!
  • Note that a new lithium ion battery's full performance is only achieved after 2-3 complete charge and discharge cycles.
  • THIS PROCEDURE WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY, so perform at your own risk.
  • STEP ONE: Perform a data back-up to your computer, as described in your owner's manual, since ALL data will be lost when you remove the battery.
  • STEP TWO: Power off your Apple iPhone and Remove the SIM card from the phone.
  • STEP THREE: Pry up Black Antenna Cover at Bottom of Apple iPhone with provided Special case opening tool.
  • STEP FOUR: Remove all 3 Phillips screws holding the back cover, in the exposed area of Apple iPhone.
  • STEP FIVE: Remove the back cover with the Special Apple iPhone case removal tool, being very careful not to damage the cover, PCB and components. Observe the Snap Locations for Proper Dis-Assembly and Re-Assembly.
  • STEP SIX:Gently disconnect the flex cable at the PCB to completely separate the back cover.
  • STEP SEVEN: Gently Remove the Used Battery from the Apple iPhone with the Special Tool, Included. Be Careful to Note the Double Adhesive at Bottom of Battery, and the color coding of the battery cables.
  • STEP EIGHT: Remove the 3 battery leads of the Apple iPhone battery with a soldering iron, then Sequentially Solder the battery leads to the new battery. Carefully observe the orientation of the leads and be sure not to touch any other parts during soldering to prevent short circuiting.
  • STEP NINE: Reassemble your Apple iPhone by following applicable steps in reverse order.
  • THIS PROCEDURE WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY, so perform at your own risk.
