Parrot CK3300 GPS Car Kit, With its quality built-in GPS receiver, adds navigation functions to the benefits of the Best in class Parrot CK3100 car kit.
Parrot CK3300 GPS Car Kit enables the driver to access wirelessely NMEA-0183 standard GPS data via Bluetooth . Those Data standards can be used with all Smartphone or PDA's.
Most navigation software providers, such as TomTom, WayFinder, or Navigon to name a few, sell GPS solutions integrating high definition screen visibility and advanced functionnalities.
Thus, using the Parrot CK3300 GPS Car Kit, drivers no longer need to connect their personal device (PDA) to an external receiver, or invest into expensive, useless on-board equipment. Only a dashboard mounting for the PDA or Smartphone is required as an additional device. We suggest the SYN0828 Universal holder for units up to 2.5" wide.

Installation should be done by qualified personnel to secure equipment safely and provide efficient wiring. Please note that the terms of warranty require that the car kit be installed by an experienced installation facility. An end user should never attempt to install the car kit without professional assistance, as the installation requires special tools and knowledge. Electronic fuel injection systems, electronic cruise control systems, and other electronic systems can malfunction due to the lack of protection from radio signals. Please check with your cellular service provider for professional installation facilities in your area.
NOTE: Some installations require an ISO connector/adaptor to work with certain types of radios. While experienced installers may be able to complete installation without an ISO adaptor, connecting the unit with an adaptor is recommended. Information on where to purchase the ISO adaptors can be found by visiting www.driveblue.com and viewing their FAQ page. Many GM Factory stereos beginning in 2000 year models should use the GMCELL stereo harness, purchased separately. Parrot can be emailed in North America at the email address install@parrotsupport.com .
There are no returns on installed units, however, a Factory original one year warranty applies.
RIM has released software v4.0 and higher for its older Blackberry 7250, 7290, 7520, 7100 devices, allowing synchronization with the cell phone book automatically with Parrot products. This is strongly recommended for you to enjoy full car kit functionality including voice recognition.
